Today we were driving on the interstate and saw a group of several couples riding motorcycles together. It had been raining and these folks were luckily dressed for the weather. Riding in the rain isn't fun, but it really bites when you don't have on the appropriate gear. Been there, done that. Not anymore, but I digress.
Anyway... we see this particular couple pull up next to us and the woman on the back of the motorcycle is actually CROCHETING! I never would have thought it possible to crochet while riding on the back of a motorcycle, but then again, I can't imagine anyone WANTING to either, particularly when it's raining. Shouldn't you be holding on or something like that? And God help this woman's husband should he have to hit the brakes and her crochet needle ends up in his back. Ouch!

Hello. I have just started trying to teach myself to crochet again. I know a few basic stitches. I can't even imagine crotcheting on the back of a motorcycle moving down the highway. That lady must be a pro.ha Let's hope that guy doesn't take it to the back...oweeeeeeee!!!! Smiles!! O;)

i'm writing this for the second time because i don't think it went through (new at this, ya know) so if you see it twice, that's why.
we had a great time with all of you and it was so sweet to fit us into the travel agenda. believe me, we know how thin you can get spread when trying to see everyone, so it meant the world to have that time with all of you. the boys are simply incredible kids and the other night on the porch was so much fun talking until after midnight.
hope your vacation in tennessee is going well and we miss you already!
